Did you know? (For those of you who have suffered a miscarriage)

My friend says she knew something was wrong before they found out the baby's heart had stopped. She said deep down she knew something was wrong even though she tried to convince her self everything was okay.

I know alot of my readers have been through one or more miscarriages. Did you know ahead of time something was wrong?

I think I did. For a month before my miscarriage I had dreams of losing the baby or I guess you would call them nightmares. I would wake up in a sweat and be all panic-y (is that even a word?).

The night before my first OB appointment I started to freak out that there would be no heartbeat. I worried all night and was practically shaking in the waiting room. There had been no real reason for me to worry, but it came all of a sudden. But, I was still shocked when my fear came true.

Of course I worried like that with Liam, too, but I think that was because of fear from my earlier loss.

With the first, I had no idea. After the first u/s where there was no heartbeat yet. I knew after that. But we were all confused about dates so I had to wait 10 days for another b/c they thought my dates were off. Those were the worst 10 days, b/c I knew...

The 2nd, No idea until going into severe pain, shock and nearly bleeding to death from a ruptured Ectopic.

You know what else, though? I knew the minute I conceived my first one. I talked to it my whole honeymoon because I knew.

I didn't know I'd conceived Liam. I think my whole intuition was blocked by fear after my intuition.

Kether that is sooooo weird that you say that!!! With Stella I had the same thing happen. I knew as soon as we made love that I was pregnant! We had barely even talked about having a 2nd child and then we DTD like 4 times in one week and DH was like maybe we should wait a little longer before we try for # 2 .. and I said it's a little late now. You are locking the gate after the horse is already out. I knew I was pregnant. Then I took a test and it was negative and I was devistated. I cried for hours. I just knew I was pregnant. And I was 2 days later I got the positive test.

I really think I did know. Something just didn't feel right - maybe that was the problem, I wasn't feeling anything.

We were only 8 weeks along when we found out (the baby quit growing at 5 weeks).
